Finding 'the place' is never easy....... I' m still looking for mine and it probably will take me some time. Finding my place within the project is not easy as well, but I'm trying. Maybe too carefully but I can feel these small steps are taking me somewhere.
While I was having coffee in town, I made some quick drawings of people passing by- aren't they the major part of the city? I'm introducing them into my world of patterns and repetitions. I don't know what their role is yet but it's not important, at least now.
The journey itself is usually more important than destination, isn't it? I'm coming back to my maps and people so, to take next steps, maybe this time bigger and braver?
Recent book- Richard Long "Walking in circles"- beautiful!

City as a pattern

Pattrens- I see them everywhere. That's why they naturally appearred in my work this week.I started with the city's, college's and cathedral's maps, moving to city's basic objects, like traffic lights and the colours. This week I'll carry on with the research about repetitions and differences as well as I'll try to make something 3d models.
Apart from that, got a really nice book about Gabriel Orozco- worth looking at!
