silicone moulds, casts and all the fun while waiting ;)

these are the shapes I took form the people I sketched and one is from the building plan. I enlarged them and then they were cut from mdf board and glued to the one too. 

Next, I had to apply a layer of vaseline so the silicone that was poured later on, would come off easily. 

Then, I coverd the shapes with plaster so the silicone moulds would stay in shape.

The plaster turned out to be to fragile, the long bits just broke

Wax wasn't strong enough either

Only the synthetic resin was strong enough and didin t brake, giving nice transparency and shine.

In the next casts, I used different colours by adding pigments to the resin.
